I only have one quibble with this app being less than great for me: I would like it to take the computer’s focus away from whatever I’m doing to the app so that I have to actually decide and click to keep working. I usually work with music so the alarm sounds are either lost, ignored, or too jarring. There’s another Pomodoro-style app that I had been using that does the focus switch, but it doesn’t have the flexibility this one does, like pausing the work period and being able to log the task. Improvement: Clicking "New Task" will now create a task for the currently shown day, instead of for today. Plus, it can always show you how productive you are right in the status bar, to help you stay on track. “At the end of a day, you can see how everything has gone: what apps you used, what documents, what websites and always how long you spent in each. If you want to, you can go through the list and assign everything to projects. Timing observes how you use your Mac and categorizes your activities. 💡 Revamped the way Timing suggests properties for new Tasks:

Update Aug 2017: The new version is an amazing upgrade. The developer has completely rebuilt the software, making it super useful for me, a consultant. It’s not a 99 cent software, but I’m not a 99 cent consultant either! Well worth every bit of the cost - saves me a huge amount of time and frustration, allows me to bill for what I do. Pays for itself. Wonderful!
